Rainbow Hatching Eggs are collected from our carefully managed mixed breeding flock at Wandering Shepherd Farmstead in Brooksville, Florida. Each order includes 12 hatching eggs, offered based on seasonal laying, fertility checks, flock readiness, and responsible collection practices.
Rainbow Hatching Eggs are valued by homesteaders and small farms for their colorful egg potential, practical farmstead utility, flock diversity, and long term production value. Our flock is managed with intention, consistency, and a focus on quality over quantity. Our roosters are quality selected and intentionally managed with conscious male rotation to support flock strength, genetic diversity, and long term farmstead value.
This flock may include genetics from birds such as Easter Eggers, Olive Eggers, Marans, Australorps, Wyandottes, and other productive layers within our program. Chicks from this group may carry the potential for a range of future egg colors, including blue, green, olive, brown, cream, and other natural variations. Exact egg color results cannot be guaranteed, but the goal is a useful, colorful, and productive farmstead flock.
Orders are fulfilled through the next safe express shipping window. We schedule shipments based on egg availability, flock production, weather conditions, and the postal calendar. We do not guarantee a specific ship date at checkout because hatching eggs require responsible timing and careful handling.
Shipping rates are based on destination region and are charged at checkout. Tracking will be provided once the shipping label is created and the order is fulfilled.
Local pickup in Brooksville, Florida may be available by direct coordination only. Local pickup is not currently offered as an automatic checkout option. Please contact Wandering Shepherd Farmstead before placing an order if you are interested in local pickup.
Hatching eggs are living potential. We do our part through clean collection practices, responsible flock care, careful handling, and proper packing. Final hatch results depend on shipping conditions, postal handling, incubation methods, humidity, handling after delivery, and the buyer’s setup. Because of those variables, hatch rates cannot be guaranteed once eggs leave our care.
