American Bresse Hatching Eggs

NPIP-Certified American Bresse Hatching Eggs

Wandering Bresse Hatching Eggs are collected from our carefully managed American Bresse breeding flock at Wandering Shepherd Farmstead in Brooksville, Florida. Orders are offered in selected quantities based on seasonal laying, fertility checks, flock readiness, and responsible collection practices. NPIP 58-3426-E

Our breeding program includes roosters from unrelated bloodlines, with Greenfire Farms genetics represented among our foundation stock. We select and rotate breeding males intentionally to support genetic diversity, flock vigor, and long-term farmstead value.

Temperament matters here. Roosters that display poor or unsafe behavior are removed from our breeding program. Our current breeding roosters are true gentlemen: attentive to their hens, manageable around people, and well suited to a working farmstead flock.

We breed toward the classic red, white, and blue traits associated with American Bresse: bright red combs, clean white plumage, and slate-blue legs. We also select for broad, full breasts, substantial body size, sound structure, and the practical dual-purpose qualities that make these birds valuable for both flock development and Farm to Table production. Our focus is not simply producing more birds; it is building a dependable line with useful traits, good temperament, and lasting value.

Nutrition is also an important part of our program. We are deliberate about the feed our breeding flock receives and supplement their routine with fermented feed when seasonal conditions allow. This approach is part of our commitment to maintaining healthy, productive birds through attentive daily care.

Orders are fulfilled during the next safe express-shipping window. We schedule shipments around egg availability, flock production, weather conditions, and the carrier calendar. Because hatching eggs require responsible timing and careful handling, we cannot guarantee a specific shipping date at checkout.

Shipping rates are based on the destination and selected service and are charged at checkout. Tracking is provided once the shipping label is created. Faster shipping is strongly recommended because extended transit time, handling, vibration, and temperature changes may reduce egg viability.

Local pickup in Brooksville, Florida may be available through direct coordination. It is not currently offered as an automatic checkout option, so please contact Wandering Shepherd Farmstead before ordering if you would prefer pickup.

Hatching eggs are living potential. We do our part through thoughtful breeding, clean collection practices, fertility monitoring, careful handling, and protective packing. Final hatch results depend on carrier handling, transit time, temperature exposure, incubation equipment, humidity, and the buyer’s practices. For these reasons, fertility and hatch rates cannot be guaranteed after eggs leave our care.

From our flock to your future flock. Quality you can taste, care you can trust.
